What size are your toy poodles?
Most finish between 5 and 7 pounds, depending on the pairing. A litter note includes the adult-size estimate from the parents.
Are your dogs health tested?
Parent dogs are DNA tested through Embark and Animal Genetics. They also have OFA results for eyes, patellas, and heart.
Do you offer a health guarantee?
Yes. Genetic conditions are covered for one year. The puppy leaves with a clean bill of health from our veterinarian at pickup.
How can I reserve a puppy?
A deposit holds a place on the list. The rest is due at pickup, or before scheduled hand delivery.
Do you offer delivery or transportation?
Yes. We offer safe, white-glove in-cabin hand delivery nationwide. Local families can also pick up in person in Southern California.
When can my puppy go home?
At 8 weeks, after their final veterinary examination and health clearance.
Do red poodles fade?
Many red coats lighten a little as the dog matures. We pair dogs with strong red pigment. No breeder can promise a coat will never fade.
How does puppy selection work?
We match temperament to the home. Gender is considered. The match is usually made around 6 weeks.
Are tails docked?
Yes or no. Docking and dewclaws are the customer’s choice. Tell us before the match.
What grooming is required?
The coat keeps growing. Most families book a groomer every 4 to 6 weeks and brush several times a week. Ears, nails, and teeth need regular care too.
What is the temperament of a toy poodle?
Smart, affectionate, and playful. They bond hard and often follow one person through the house. Small, but confident and easy to teach when the training is consistent.
Do you start potty training before the puppies go home?
Yes. A tray starts around 3 weeks, so the puppy already knows a place to go. They stay inside until vaccines are done.
Are toy poodles easy to train?
Yes. They learn fast and want to please. Short sessions and positive rewards work better than force.
What food do you feed your puppies?
VICTOR Sensitive Skin & Stomach. It is chicken-free and gluten-free, and it is what they are eating when they leave.
What vaccinations and deworming do puppies receive?
Age-appropriate vaccines and deworming before they go home. You get the veterinarian’s written record.
Can I visit before placing a deposit?
Home visits are for families who have already reserved. Before that, we are happy to schedule a FaceTime call so you can see where the puppies live.
Are toy poodles hypoallergenic?
They grow hair, not a shedding coat, so many people with allergies do better with them. No dog is a promise of zero reaction.
What’s the difference between a toy, mini, and standard poodle?
Size. Toys are under 10 inches and usually 4 to 8 pounds. Minis are about 10 to 15 inches and 10 to 15 pounds. Standards are taller than 15 inches. We place toys.
Do you offer support after we bring our puppy home?
Yes. Call us about training, grooming, or care. We want to hear how the dog is doing throughout its life.
Do you offer breeding rights?
Puppies go as companions unless breeding rights were discussed and agreed before the match.
Do you offer refunds if I change my mind?
The deposit is not refunded. It can move to another litter until the puppies are 2 weeks old. After that, a later litter needs a new deposit.
